Netflix — the world’s leading streaming entertainment service — has partnered with edX to offer an industry-driven online learning experience. This program is aimed at accelerating job readiness for students from historically underrepresented communities who are interested in entry level software engineering roles. Throughout the program, students receive instruction in and hands-on experience with industry-relevant Java concepts, mentorship from a Netflix employee, and technical interview coaching and practice.
Participants who successfully complete the program may also receive an interview for a full-time software engineering position at Netflix. Employment at Netflix after program completion is a primary goal, though it is not guaranteed.
Netflix Pathways Bootcamp is an immersive 12-week program designed to provide technical skills development and professional work experience to students from historically underrepresented groups.
Participants gain meaningful, real-world experience, and may be given the opportunity to interview for a full-time position at Netflix upon successful course completion.
Seats are limited. The application deadline is May 12, 2023, at 11:59 a.m. PST. Program start date: June 5, 2023
Netflix Pathways Bootcamp is a cost free, 12 week immersive course for students who are seeking full-time employment opportunities as Software Engineers.
